Google Maps Platform and local groomer searches
The Shih Tzu Groomer Finder uses Google Maps Platform services, including Geocoding and Places, to process location searches and return grooming-business information.
When a visitor submits a location search, Dematly’s server may send the entered city, ZIP code, address, or geographic coordinates to Google. Google may also receive technical information associated with the request under its own terms and privacy practices.
Information returned by Google may include:
- Business names.
- Street addresses.
- Distance from the searched location.
- Google ratings and review counts.
- Telephone numbers.
- Business websites.
- Hours or open-status information.
- Google Maps or directions links.
Dematly does not create, control, or independently verify every listing returned by Google. Business details may be incomplete, inaccurate, unavailable, or out of date.
Use of Google-powered features is also subject to applicable Google privacy practices and Google Maps terms.
OpenAI-powered tools
When a visitor uses an active OpenAI-powered tool, the information entered into that tool is sent through Dematly’s server to the OpenAI API so the requested response can be generated.
This may include general information about a dog’s breed, coat, grooming history, matting, behavior, handling needs, skin or coat concerns, and requested grooming services.
Dematly does not need complete veterinary files or personally identifying medical records to generate a grooming interview guide. Visitors should enter only the limited information needed to obtain the requested result.
OpenAI may process and temporarily retain API request information according to its applicable service, privacy, abuse-monitoring, and security practices. Dematly does not control every aspect of an outside provider’s systems or retention practices.
OpenAI states that API inputs and outputs are not used to train its models by default unless the API customer affirmatively opts in to data sharing.
Review OpenAI’s privacy information for details about its practices.
