1 Acceptance of these terms

These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of Dematly.com, including its articles, guides, images, forms, calculators, finders, AI-assisted features, downloadable materials, and other services. These are collectively referred to as the “Site.”

4 Veterinary and grooming safety limitations

Dematly does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure veterinary, dermatological, behavioral, or medical conditions.

Contact a veterinarian promptly when a dog has symptoms such as:

• Open wounds, bleeding, burns, swelling, or discharge.
• Severe redness, infection, odor, hair loss, or skin changes.
• Sudden pain, weakness, collapse, or difficulty walking.
• Breathing difficulty, overheating, or extreme distress.
• A reaction to a grooming product or medication.
• Matting that is tight against painful, damaged, or infected skin.
• A condition that may require sedation, restraint, or medical supervision.

Dematly does not recommend administering sedatives, medications, or calming products without appropriate veterinary direction.

5 Interactive tools and generated results

Dematly may provide finders, questionnaires, calculators, routine builders, coat guides, interview assistants, and other interactive features.

Tool results depend on the information entered, the rules or model used, the availability of outside services, and technical conditions. Results may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, unavailable, or unsuitable for a particular dog.

You are responsible for:

• Entering accurate and relevant information.
• Reviewing results before relying on them.
• Confirming important information with a qualified professional.
• Using appropriate judgment based on the dog’s actual condition.
• Stopping any action that appears painful, unsafe, or distressing.

Dematly may impose usage limits, rate limits, caching, access controls, or other safeguards to prevent abuse and manage operating costs.

6 AI-generated content

Some Dematly features may use artificial intelligence services to generate questions, summaries, routines, explanations, suggestions, or other content based on information submitted by a visitor.

AI-generated content may:

• Contain factual errors or misleading statements.
• Omit important information.
• Misinterpret the information entered.
• Produce similar responses for different visitors.
• Fail to account for a dog’s complete medical or behavioral history.
• Become outdated as products, services, or professional standards change.

You must independently evaluate AI-generated output before using it. AI output is not professional veterinary, medical, behavioral, legal, or financial advice.

7 Google-powered finder results

Certain finder features may use Google Maps Platform services, including Geocoding and Places, to process a location and display nearby businesses.

Business information may include names, addresses, ratings, review counts, hours, phone numbers, websites, open status, distance, and directions links.

Dematly does not create, control, inspect, or independently verify every business listing returned by Google. Information may be incomplete, inaccurate, unavailable, or outdated.

A business appearing in search results does not mean that Dematly:

• Recommends or endorses the business.
• Has inspected the facility.
• Has verified licenses, certifications, insurance, training, or experience.
• Guarantees pricing, availability, quality, safety, or customer service.
• Confirms that the business is appropriate for a particular dog.

Visitors should contact businesses directly, ask questions, confirm current information, review applicable policies, and use independent judgment before booking.

Google-powered features are also subject to applicable Google Terms and Google Privacy Policy.

8 Information and content you submit

You are responsible for information, messages, questions, feedback, form entries, and other content you submit through the Site.

By submitting content, you represent that:

• You have the right to provide it.
• It is not knowingly false, misleading, unlawful, threatening, or defamatory.
• It does not violate another person’s privacy, intellectual property, or legal rights.

Dematly may restrict, suspend, block, or terminate access when misuse is suspected or when necessary to protect the Site, visitors, service providers, or other parties.

10 Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, Dematly owns or licenses the Site’s original design, branding, text, graphics, logos, illustrations, tool interfaces, downloadable materials, code, organization, and other original content.

Dematly grants visitors a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Site for personal, noncommercial informational purposes.

If Dematly is found liable despite these limitations, Dematly’s aggregate liability arising from use of the Site will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid directly to Dematly for the relevant service during the previous twelve months or one hundred U.S. dollars, except where applicable law does not permit that limitation.

16 Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Dematly and its owner, operators, contributors, contractors, affiliates, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from:

• Your misuse of the Site.
• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your violation of another person’s rights.
• Information or content you submit.
• Your use of a product, grooming technique, business, or external service.
• Your unlawful, negligent, or harmful conduct.

Dematly reserves the right to control the defense of a matter subject to indemnification, and you agree to reasonably cooperate.

17 Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Before filing a legal claim, you agree to contact Dematly and make a good-faith effort to resolve the concern informally.

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, any legal action arising from these Terms or use of the Site must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in New Jersey, and the parties consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived or restricted.

18 Severability, waiver, and entire agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary. The remaining provisions will continue in effect.

Failure by Dematly to enforce a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and other policies expressly incorporated by reference, form the entire agreement concerning use of the Site.

You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without written permission. Dematly may assign these Terms as part of a sale, transfer, restructuring, or change in operation of the Site.
